Programs and Services:

Charles Ott Academy offers immediate and flexible placement in an environment that follows a rigorous and challenging credit-earning, individualized, curriculum. Each ½ day session is highly interactive, experiential, and rooted in the project based learning philosophy. All curriculum is competency-based with credits being awarded in content areas enabling students to work towards a diploma from their sending high school or through Dover Adult Learning Center.

Charles Ott Academy is designed to be one component of a student’s educational experience. Some students will maintain a partial course load at their local high school. Others may be involved in a highly individualized program through a menu of options, including but not limited to, extended learning opportunities, work based learning, internships, and online learning opportunities. All students will develop personalized learning plans that lead to high school completion.
